Terrance “Rick” Harris began his legal career in 1991. After graduating from Gonzaga University, School of Law, Rick served as an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Arizona, providing legal services and counsel to state agencies. Rick joined Ramsden, Marfice, Ealy & De Smet, LLP (then Ramsden & Lyons, LLP) as an associate attorney in 2001, retiring in 2019. After an extended illness, Rick passed away in April 2021, leaving an indelible mark on the law firm by his unflagging loyalty, good humor and wisdom.
Before his untimely death, Rick liked to say that his mantra in life was from the insightful lyrics of a David J. Matthew's song:
"Life is short but sweet for certain."
