Matthew is a native of the Pacific Northwest. He earned his undergraduate degree and law degree from the University of Washington. While in law school, Matthew externed at Division II of the Washington Court of Appeals. Matthew initially practiced at a firm in Western Washington for a number of years where his practice focused on commercial, real estate, construction and estate matters, representing both businesses and individuals. He then moved to the inland northwest and joined a prominent insurance defense firm before coming to Ramsden, Marfice, Ealy & De Smet, LLP in 2022.
When not at the office, one may usually find Matthew in the outdoors with friends and family - exploring Idaho’s forests and lakes, hunting and occasionally shooting local USPSA matches.
